The ISO standard 15930 [PDF/X] specifies the use of the Portable Document Format [PDF] for the dissemination of complete digital data, in a single exchange, that contains all elements necessary for final print reproduction. These exchanges will support both colour-managed workflows and traditional CMYK workflows. Due to the manifold workflows with it‘s individual needs, it is cessesary to further finetune the specification in the light of process dependent requirements. Such specifications are made by PDFX-ready where Fogra is an active partner.
