Digital control aids in the workflow
Fogra control aids and measuring devices form the basis for effective quality control in repro, printing and finishing. Some of the control aids, for example the control strips, are part of a comprehensive quality assurance system. If required, appropriate Fogra seminars explain how to use these control aids correctly.

Ugra/Fogra Media Wedge CMYK V3.0
At present, the Ugra/Fogra Media Wedge CMYK is the recognised control tool worldwide for the contract proof and has been used in its two-row version for over 10 years. The Media Wedge V2.2 has been redesigned in 2008.
The new colour fields of the ‘Media Wedge CMYK V3.0 Proof’ display an increased sensitivity in the highlights and shadows. Version 3.0 is completely compatible with the versions 2.X, i.e. all 46 colour fields of the existing Media Wedge are part of Version 3.0. The evaluation of Version 3.0 with the additional colour fields corresponds to the tolerances as have been specified in ISO 12647-7 and in the Media Standard Print.
