The PDF test forms provide a set of data that can be used for the proof evaluation defined in ISO 12647-7. They can be further used for any kind of image quality evluation that are covered by the pertinent control elements. Any commercial use requires prior consultaion with Fogra.

Proof Evaluation:

The test form contain elements that are necessary in order to scruitny a proof print according ISO 12647-7. These are the resolution charts S2 and S3 defined in ISO 12640-1, the ISO 12642-2 test chart [ECI2002 in Version "A" and IT.8/7-4 in Version "B"], vignette targets, targets for evaluation of legibillity and register.

Homogeneity:

For checks on uniformity these formes are provided, each with an even tint area that fills the printable format of the proof printer, using the following tone value combinations

Testform 1: CMYK = 20 15 15 15
Testform 2: CMYK = 40 30 30 30
Testform 3: CMYK = 65 50 50 50
Testform 4: CMYK = 40 27 27 40 [not required by ISO 12647-7]
Testform 5: CMYK = 40 20 20 40 [not required by ISO 12647-7]
