Proof printing certification using EFI products and TECCO papers

Fogra and EFI Electronics for Imaging, Inc. jointly offer two days courses on certification and standards. The objective is to provide dealers with the knowledge they need to install and calibrate proofing systems consisting of the EFI Colorproof XF, a printer and EFI papers from Tecco in order to produce FograCert compliant proof prints under set printing conditions and within predetermined tolerances. Dealers will also receive information about standards, trends and relevant developments.

The two day courses take place in the EFI training facilities in Ratingen and Ulrich Schmitt of Fogra, Helmut Schweighöfer and Christoph Herzog of EFI together with Rainer Kamp and Uwe Janke of Tecco will explain the complex subject. The participants then take a test and if they pass it they are entitled to describe themselves as Fogra-EFI certified.
