We certify your ability to create a print job according to Fogra ProcessStandard Digital (PSD) specifications. The test includes color accuracy, print run consistency, uniformity and detail sharpness. The certification comes with a certificate and a FograCert logo. Certification details are listed in our FograCert database.

We need from you
the completed order sheet for each printing combination,
a quality report according to the PSD specifications,
printouts of the test form to check the color match of a printing combination (printer, substrate, RIP, ...) with PrintCheck.

Procedure for cut sheet (small format)
Print out the PrintCheck test forms and add the Fogra MediaWedge CMYK.
Please print an edition of 500 prints and draw 20 print samples at random intervals and number them. It is helpful to number all 500 prints. Mark one print separately as OK sheet.
Printouts for the large format
Print out the PrintCheck test form and add the Fogra MediaWedge CMYK.
Please print 9, 18 or 27 test forms, depending on the print width:
Up to 155 cm (61"): 3x3 test forms, labeled A1 to C3
Up to 264 cm (264"): 6x3 test forms, labeled A1 to C6
Larger than 264 cm (104"): 9x3 test forms, labeled A1 to C9
Mark the test forms in the box provided (top left) by using rows (A, B and C) and columns (1 to 3, 6 and 9 respectively). The print length must at least correspond to the print width. After printing, cut the printouts into A3 format.
Quality Report
Create a measurement report according to the requirements defined in the PSD Handbook.
Our procedure
Your printouts will be measured and analyzed in our laboratory. We check your prints for color accuracy and print run consistency according to PSD (ISO/TS 15311-2 for PrintCheck Digital and ISO/TS 15311-3 for PrintCheck LFP). Uniformity and resolution (detail sharpness) will be inspected visually.
In case of a successful certification we issue a certificate and list your company in our FograCert database.
